CART has distributed over $6.5 Million worth in grants between 1999-2017 in cooperation and with the support of over 800 Rotary Clubs and Districts. About Alzheimer’s Disease:

Alzheimer’s is the 6th leading cause of death in the US, and in 2016 5.4 million Americans were diagnosed. The definition for Alzheimer’s Disease is “a degenerative brain disease and the most common cause of dementia”. The symptoms are characterized by a decline in memory, language, problem-solving, and other cognitive skills that affect a person’s ability to perform everyday activities.
